Carolyn Binder2 days agoFairley & Stevens Ford genuinely seem to care about pleasing customers. We bought our last two vehicles at this dealership. Kate was a great salesperson, really tried to address all of our needs (without up-selling us), and made the shopping process as easy for us as possible because we had two young kids along with us. I have to say though, part of our reason for purchasing our second vehicle at Fairley & Stevens is because of their excellent service record. Their Service Advisors are usually excellent and explain any service that needs to be done. One Service Advisor even climbed through my truck while it was up on the lift to grab some luggage for me because the service was taking longer than expected! My last couple service visits weren't perfect, with a few things being missed. A quick chat with Service Manager, Shawn Noonan, quickly resolved these issues. They took full ownership for any oversights and corrected the issues with as little hassle to me as possible. This kind of attitude doesn't seem to be the norm. I view it as outstanding customer service!

Champika Gamage1 month agoI bought my SUV from here in August. Terry Cavandini was very helpful from the beginning. He was communicate with me back and forth until finish the deal. He was able to quote me a good price for the SUV and the interest rate offered was fantastic. There was a small mistake on our financial and Mike was able to fix it so quickly. Even after buying the vehicle Terry helped and given me a touch up paint to fix small scratches on my SUV. He went above and beyond customer service and promised to give good deal on winter Tire package. I have dealt with other FORD dealer in the past and had very bad experience. But the service I got from here is exceptional. So happy I bought my car there and looking forward the same experience in service department as well

A Google User6 months agoI bought my car from here 2 years ago this November. I have dealt with them a few times for maintenance work and every time they have been more than helpful. This last time I used their shuttle service. They were very nice as well. When I came back after using a rental for the weekend, they were very helpful so I didnt have to lug my daughters car seat around. Nd they were very friendly and chatty with my almost 8 month old. I am very happy with every interaction I have had with them. So happy I bought my car there.

Joe J.3 years agoNow that I have completed my first scheduled maintenance, I can honestly say its the best service Ive ever had, anywhere, in any industry, in Nova Scotia. Its like being in another country, especially compared to Steele and MacPhee. I cannot stress to you enough to come here instead of any other HRM Ford dealership, it will save you money, time, and headaches, trust me. Well done team! Awesome!

Shannon H.7 years agoI should have known when Mom suggested lunch in Burnside that she had something else on the brain. Sure enough, as soon as we were done, she was all "Y'know, Ford is just down the street..."I have been looking into a new car for a few weeks now, so we decided to go in and see what was available. After looking around the lot (and visiting some extra lots as well), I had found something special: A Ford Focus in Candy Blue. Good Lord, this was a nice car. Now, car dealerships have a certain "reputation" if you will. We all know the stereotypical oily salesmen who supposedly roam around and pounce on unsuspecting clients. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. Especially as I'm a female with not much car knowledge in my head (to my parents utter dismay). When John Bond appeared to help us out (best. name. ever.), I was put to ease immediately. He agreed that the Focus was a lovely model, but then made sure to go over a few more options, just so I was aware of pros and cons. He asked questions about what the car would be used for, what kind of storage would I need, and made me think about issues I didn't even realize at first. It was obvious that he didn't want to just sell me a car- He wanted to sell me MY car.The entire process was painless. He even suggested I take the car on a test ride to Bedford to show my Ford-obsessed boyfriend and get his opinion on it too! He worked with us to find a great price, and I really can't say enough good things about him! I never once felt I was being ripped-off or taken advantage of. I can wholeheartedly recommend both this dealership and their staff. I worked with both John and Mike Kleykens, and they were both real people who didn't just spew out canned sales information at me. They did their jobs, and did them without making me feel uncomfortable. In conclusion, I have an amazing car now. Watch out for me on the highway. I usually speed.

Joshua Y.10 years ago"I love car shopping," is never anything you will see me say. At least, not until I have a few hundred thousand dollars to spend. Then at that point my dream has come true and I'll be driving my new Lamborghini to coffee shops in order to write my reviews every day. For now, I'm not that big of a fan. But a friend of mine needed a new, 2009 truck for her business and asked me to tag along. I thought, "what the heck," and drove off with her to Fairley & Stevens in Dartmouth. I assumed we were going to be hassled by car salesmen, or salespeople as soon as we got there. After all my friend was driving the latest Lexus SUV. It would have been obvious to the sales staff as we drove into the car lot, that we had money and it was not a problem to buy almost any vehicle they had on the lot. To my surprise there was no typical "car salespeople" attitude. In fact, a lovely, older gentleman walked up to us and simply asked if we had any questions. My friend went straight into what she was looking for in her dream truck. Now I don't know how he did this, but the older gentleman instantly knew where a truck that matches what she was looking for, would be! We went inside and he pulled up all the information on the computer. Now my friend does know a lot about vehicles, what are the right prices and what is a rip off etc...I don't know if this salesman's spidey sense was tingling but he made sure there was going to be no "swindling" with us. Not to say he would normally have done some swindling to others. In fact, I actually got the impression we found one of the most honest salespeople in the city. So after a few phone calls and discussions over the color of the seats, sizes of this and that, a sale was made! It was the easiest and painless experience I have ever had at a car dealership! Now I can't obviously speak for all the salespeople that work there. But I hope they do what this gentleman does or else they should definitely take notes because he is fantastic! With the way the economy is and gas prices, its more important than ever to excel in customer service if you are a car company. If you can't lower your prices, at least raise your quality of service. Fairley & Stevens does this and thanks to their friendly, no hassle attitude, when its time for me to look for a vehicle, I'll be heading there.
