Neil Isenor5 months agoI have visited this location many times. The service is excellent, and very professional. I highly recommend Fairley and Stevens.

Joe Chabassol7 months agoI chose Fairley & Stevens as I also felt that the independent dealerships always provided top level service and Fairley & Stevens lived up to that. They were able to find me the best cart vehicle I was looking for and I drove it off the lot in 24 hours - nothing I can say better than that. Thanks to John for introducing me to Wally and Wally for locating me our truck and Mike for finalizing the details.

Rob Beck7 months agoAs always, my recent service at Fairley and Stevens was absolutely first-class. My appointment was arranged on short notice to fit my schedule. My service advisor, Sarah Read explained the work done clearly, and the work to done to perfection. I would highly recommend this dealership t anyone who expects superior customer service. Well done! Thanks.

Bruce Conrod7 months agoI have had a lot of Ford vehicles serviced over the years at various Dealerships but I have never had such a clear, concise service follow-up all as I had from Sarah. I was informed exactly what the issue was, repairs to be performed in advance of completion, and the final cost was as exactly as quoted to the cent. Parts had to be brought in from Ontario and the vehicle was ready the very next day. Great service and super fast. Very glad I took my 2010 Ranger to the professionals. Thank you Sarah.

sassygal37 months agoSarah seemed to always be there when i went to visit. She was always nice and helpful. I never stayed more than I had to since I had a dealership take longer than was needed for a simple service. The service center here is great and will go back again if I move back. Thanks sarah and the technician staff.

A Google User9 months agoJust had my 2015 F150 safety inspection done and again I had great service. I made my appointment online a week in advance and picked a convenient time for me. I arrived on time and was taken right in. I talked with Bobbie at the service desk and she was wonderful, very pleasant, upbeat and friendly. I waited in the showroom while the inspection was done and had an opportunity to check out the new 2018 F150s and have a hot chocolate while I watched TV. My truck was ready in about an hour and Then I was on my way. everyone at F&S is always friendly and happy so it must be a great place to work. It certainly is a great place to be a customer.

Paul Blades10 months agoI have been leasing /buying new vehicles from Fairley and Stevens Ford for the past 20+ years and have always had a positive experience, both on the sales side as well as the service side of their business. The staff are extremely accommodating in all aspects of sales and service and I have come to rely totally on their expertise and recommendations, especially that of Jim Tapp who I deal with exclusively when leasing/purchasing new vehicles.

Joe J.2 years agoNow that I have completed my first scheduled maintenance, I can honestly say its the best service Ive ever had, anywhere, in any industry, in Nova Scotia. Its like being in another country, especially compared to Steele and MacPhee. I cannot stress to you enough to come here instead of any other HRM Ford dealership, it will save you money, time, and headaches, trust me. Well done team! Awesome!

Shannon H.6 years agoI should have known when Mom suggested lunch in Burnside that she had something else on the brain. Sure enough, as soon as we were done, she was all "Y'know, Ford is just down the street..."I have been looking into a new car for a few weeks now, so we decided to go in and see what was available. After looking around the lot (and visiting some extra lots as well), I had found something special: A Ford Focus in Candy Blue. Good Lord, this was a nice car. Now, car dealerships have a certain "reputation" if you will. We all know the stereotypical oily salesmen who supposedly roam around and pounce on unsuspecting clients. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. Especially as I'm a female with not much car knowledge in my head (to my parents utter dismay). When John Bond appeared to help us out (best. name. ever.), I was put to ease immediately. He agreed that the Focus was a lovely model, but then made sure to go over a few more options, just so I was aware of pros and cons. He asked questions about what the car would be used for, what kind of storage would I need, and made me think about issues I didn't even realize at first. It was obvious that he didn't want to just sell me a car- He wanted to sell me MY car.The entire process was painless. He even suggested I take the car on a test ride to Bedford to show my Ford-obsessed boyfriend and get his opinion on it too! He worked with us to find a great price, and I really can't say enough good things about him! I never once felt I was being ripped-off or taken advantage of. I can wholeheartedly recommend both this dealership and their staff. I worked with both John and Mike Kleykens, and they were both real people who didn't just spew out canned sales information at me. They did their jobs, and did them without making me feel uncomfortable. In conclusion, I have an amazing car now. Watch out for me on the highway. I usually speed.

Joshua Y.10 years ago"I love car shopping," is never anything you will see me say. At least, not until I have a few hundred thousand dollars to spend. Then at that point my dream has come true and I'll be driving my new Lamborghini to coffee shops in order to write my reviews every day. For now, I'm not that big of a fan. But a friend of mine needed a new, 2009 truck for her business and asked me to tag along. I thought, "what the heck," and drove off with her to Fairley & Stevens in Dartmouth. I assumed we were going to be hassled by car salesmen, or salespeople as soon as we got there. After all my friend was driving the latest Lexus SUV. It would have been obvious to the sales staff as we drove into the car lot, that we had money and it was not a problem to buy almost any vehicle they had on the lot. To my surprise there was no typical "car salespeople" attitude. In fact, a lovely, older gentleman walked up to us and simply asked if we had any questions. My friend went straight into what she was looking for in her dream truck. Now I don't know how he did this, but the older gentleman instantly knew where a truck that matches what she was looking for, would be! We went inside and he pulled up all the information on the computer. Now my friend does know a lot about vehicles, what are the right prices and what is a rip off etc...I don't know if this salesman's spidey sense was tingling but he made sure there was going to be no "swindling" with us. Not to say he would normally have done some swindling to others. In fact, I actually got the impression we found one of the most honest salespeople in the city. So after a few phone calls and discussions over the color of the seats, sizes of this and that, a sale was made! It was the easiest and painless experience I have ever had at a car dealership! Now I can't obviously speak for all the salespeople that work there. But I hope they do what this gentleman does or else they should definitely take notes because he is fantastic! With the way the economy is and gas prices, its more important than ever to excel in customer service if you are a car company. If you can't lower your prices, at least raise your quality of service. Fairley & Stevens does this and thanks to their friendly, no hassle attitude, when its time for me to look for a vehicle, I'll be heading there.
